IP Routing

Subnet Masks
- Mask for the 10.111.1.0 network is 255.255.255.0
- Mask for the 10.15.1.240 network is 255.255.255.248
- Mask for the 129.23.4.128 and 129.23.4.0 networks is 255.255.255.128
Host addresses are ANDed with the subnet mask to determine ‘routing’
- If the result differs from the hosts own network, then a gateway is needed for delivery.
